Frequently asked questions:

Mental training

How long does a 1:1 mental training take?
A single lesson usually lasts for about 60 minutes, sometimes 5-10 minutes longer. A mental training workshop in a group lasts for at least 2 hours.

How often should I come to mental training?
Depending on your individual goal, a short-term intervention (1-2 times) can be sufficient. To address a more complex issue, I recommend to plan session for a period of about 3-5 months. The number and frequency of sessions is individual, we will define this together.

Where does the mental training take place?

  • Private lessons: These preferably take place physically on site. But I leave this up to you, of course online mental training via Zoom or Teams is also possible at any time.
  • Lessons in groups on request: Vogesenplatz 1, 4056 Basel or in external premises.

Directions

  • By car: During store opening hours you can park vis-à-vis at Voltacenter U1 (fee required).
  • Public transport: Tram line 1 from SBB train station in the direction of Dreirosenbrücke, to the “Bahnhof St. Johann” stop.

I am an athlete and have a coach. Is it still worth doing mental training?
While your coach specializes in the technical execution of your sport, as a mental coach I work with your mental state and therefore independently of your sport. I support you in mental challenges. Possible topics: Competition preparation, attention regulation, visualization techniques, relaxation exercises.
